Child Care Center
All About Kids is a state licensed
daycare center located in West Seattle. We serve children from one month through six years of age. Our full-time
program includes a pre-school curriculum, and early childhood program.
In our goals we are dedicated
to providing a safe, fun experience for your child. We are highly qualified, dedicated and recognize each child as an
individual with his own potentials, interest and needs. We provide opportunities for each child to learn and satisfy
their curiosity through various types of hands-on activities in a positive environment.
Good values
are important in all our lives. We are aware that each family has its own values, and strive to respect these.
It is our goal to teach children in our care to respect others. No person shall, on the basis of race, color, creed,
religious belief, sex, national origin or handicapping condition be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of,
or be subjected to discrimination at our center.
All About Kids has been in business
since 1995. Deborah Griffin is the owner and director of the facility. Many of her staff are currently attending college with
an emphasis on early childhood education to general education. All About Kids staff also has an onsite educational trainer
from Child Care Resources to keep them up-to-date on pertinent information for early child hood education. Each classroom
has two full-time teachers as well as floater staff who assist in the various classrooms giving teachers breaks, acting as
substitutes, and as needed.
Our staff are individuals who enjoy
working with children. They have all undergone a criminal history background check, and are required to have CPR, first aid
and HIV training. We receive ongoing on-site and off-site training. Within our childcare team we have a registered pediatric
nurse, registered pediatric nutritionist, child psychologist, family advocate and an early childhood specialist.
